if you spoke with a different accent than your kids....

Would you take speech therapy or coaching to change your accent?

Lately my son has been making fun of the way I speak and my accent.  I know it's stupid to care, but it does hurt.

I was thinking of getting some speech coaching to sound more Anglo.

Thoughts?

My husband has a hispanic accent. There's no way in hell he'd take lessons to change the way he speaks. It's a part of who he is.

Also, if our daughter ever makes fun of him for having an accent, that shit won't fly. Making fun of each other isn't allowed.
