Hi I'm Jo Ann!

I have not had many friends in life. I have one best friend, but obviously as you get older, other things take precedence... I've tried making friends at school & at work, and it's so hard. I try to find things in common with other people but I still am always left out. I just want a friend with whom I can talk with. I used to be a complete bitch in high school(always getting made fun of because I'm vertically challenged) and ever since I've had a son, I've stopped that. Now all I hear are the crickets chirping in the background. What am I doing wrong?

I don't have friends either. Haven't had any real ones in probably 5 or 6 years.

The whole "Just be yourself" cheesy line comes into mind, but it's really what you gotta do. It's easier to make friends online rather than in real life, but yeah...that's all I got.

It is hard! I just try to talk and be nice but it really is hard to be actual friends with someone. I don't have advice other than just be nice, outgoing and friendly. Oh and ask about them. People like to talk about themselves so ask them questions or comment on things. Good luck!

See im the exact opposite i can get along with anybody , i can talk about anything lol . Just try to atleast act like you care about what other people have to say.
