s/o Do you trust your spouse with money?

The other post had me slightly surprised by how many women thought an OP dumb for trusting her husband with money. It got me wondering how many don't trust their spouse. So two questions.

1. Do you trust your spouse with money?

2. Does your spouse trust you?

Maybe I'm silly, but isn't a relationship supposed to be about trusting who you are with?
Seriously if you don't trust your spouse with a basic need for life, why are you with them.

We do, but we also had to go through a rough spot our two before we got on the same page. We now discuss finances weekly so we both know where we're at.

It's no secret that Canard men are bad with money. I usually guide him in that respect. But it's also well known that they stick by their wives.

Yes and yes. But, that being said, we have separate checking accounts. We both work full time. He has certain house bills that he is responsible for paying, and I have some that I am responsible for paying. We share expenses for the kids, put a percentage towards savings, and use the rest how we please.

So many people think it is weird that we have separate accounts, but that's how things were before we were married, and it worked for us, so we never changed it.

no and no, lol i guess he trusts me, i mean, i do get the bills paid, he tends to think i buy too much stuff, but its only stuff the kids or house needs, not wants, we have 7 kids, im always buying stuff lol.

i dont trust him cause he can never stick to a budget. he said we should order pizza, i said no we cant afford 50 bucks, he said well how much? I said 25 or 30, he said he would go to little ceasers, so he did, 5 pizzas woulda been around 30 he bought 6 pizzas, cheesy bread and wings...smfh, and that was with clear instruction as to what to buy! he does that shit all the time!
