Does anyone see their BIL as their actual brother???

I see these posts like "I slept with my BIL" or "I have a crush on my BIL"

It's gross.  Yup, Im judging.

When my sister got married I actually cried and hugged my BIL first because we were now officially brother and sister (I was happy about them being married too of course!)

Am I the only one who feels this way?

I would never sleep with a family member - that includes one that is family through marriage, just my personal choice. I don't consider my BIL like my brother, but I still consider him family.

I don't really see my BIL (any of them) but I consider my two younger SIL as my sisters (they were almost 7 and 9 when I got together with their brother)

It's gross. My sister refers to my husband as her brother and has him listed as such in Facebook. He's her brother, I'm her sister, and we are married according to Facebook. How is that not disgusting?

I do they are both younger ...one is only 18. I do see them as  brothers and treat them as such
