They lost their very first tooth?

Im wondering what is the average age children lose their first tooth. I lost mine at age 5. My dd is 6 and has not lost any yet. My friends who have kids have all lost their first tooth already and many are younger than my dd.

Im hoping my dd is still in the range of the normal age limits. Because none of her teeth are the slightest bit wiggly. =\

My son was seven when he lost his first one. Now 7.5 and he's lost two with no more wiggly ones in sight.

It's a good thing, the later they lose them the healthier their adult teeth will be. The kids who are losing teeth in preschool just have poor teeth and they will suffer as they grow up. Better to lose your baby teeth a year after your peers than to lose your adult teeth thirty years before them.
