I've heard that the chemicals in pads and tampons could be making your periods heavier.. So maybe if you switched you would see a difference in flow?
I've been seriously considering switching to a dc

I have too, I'm just nervous. TMI but I pass blood clots the size of golf balls, I have to use both tampons and pads for back up and need to change every 2/3 hours at least. So gross. I've heard the chemical thing too, I'd love to know if that's fact or fiction for sure.

I have used TP in a pinch, but to cram it up there seems dumb. Why not just use it like a pad?
