She loves him already!!

We've named him Charming!

Yesterday my husband and I found a little pure breed black poodle puppy for 300 euro(which roughly 450$) Which is completely within our means. My only hold up is I am leaving with the kids for a year, so it would be him and the puppy. This puppy was sweet as could be. So I am leaving the decision up to you ladies! I am on the fence.. so the power is in your hands!

Why can't he have the dog? Is he known for letting things die? I think it would make your husband deem less lonely.

I'd wait. After a year, puppy wouldn't be a family dog, s/he would be DH's

I guess it can keep him company. A year is a long time.

Oh no he is a great pet owner! But he is being left with our two cats also ;) LOL.. I think it's more jealousy on my part.. the next puppy was supposed to be mine, but his dog is coming home with me lol.. he claims he needs a companion ;)

were are you going for a year? for me it would depend on the dogs likely hood of not liking children if it isn't exposed, especially if it is going to be for a year, and the dog might get territorial over my house

If you are on the fence, leave the decision up to the kids and DH =)

I am going home due to medical problems, we are Navy and currently stationed in Sicily, I will be in San Diego. And he will be moving home to San Diego(or where ever our next duty station is) with him after the year.

My kids are 2 and 1... so of course they want him!! And my husband the darn bleeding heart would adopt every dog in the world if I let him LOL!
