Little girls in "boy" clothes

So, my s/o is a HUGE comic fan.  Particularly Marvel.  So, when he saw this shirt(in replies), he decided that our DD NEEDED it.  LOL  Well, I posted the pic on facebook, and a couple people have already said crap about putting her in "boy" clothes.  Now, it's not her fault that you can't find infant/toddler girl superhero shirts.  Shoot, even *I* love the Avengers, and have a Captain America shirt.  I figure I'll just toss some bows in her hair(once she gets some) or a headband and call it a day.

Would you ever put your daughter in "boy" clothes?

**Admit it; it's more interesting then another "how I parent" siggy**

I do it all the time. If I had a son and he wanted "girl" clothes. I'd do the same. Lol.

If she likes it, why not? Anyone commenting on it is an idiot.

Oh! It's a BABY! (I didn't read full post lol) He was excited! It's fine.

PS I may be a bit bias. I have a spiderman shirt I wear that I bought in the boy section at Old Navy.

I constantly put our 1 yo in boy clothes. Mainly my hubby dresses her in an adorable camo onesie shirt & overalls, or a vintage runts shirt, or any number of clothing we love that cannot be found for little girls. She wears whatever we find with at least one "girly" accent. Who cares, she's adorable lol

My daughter wears boys clothes from time to time. Today she wore her brothers old camouflage pants to play outside in... she has plenty of cloths, but she likes the look of certain boy clothes.

My 3 year old daughter picked out spiderman shoes at the store and her favorite color is blue, so she is often in clothes considered to be "boy" clothes. The only person who has mentioned it was a little 7 year old girl who asked why she was wearing boy shoes and told me to go buy her some pink ones.
