I do NOT do this. They must have a plate of what I make and if they don't eat then that is their fault.
Later, when they are hungry they are offered their dinner or fruits/veggies. NO junk snacks unless you eat your dinner!
thats just lazy.
i care enough about my kid to make them food rather then let them go hungry.
i also plan on giving her CHOICES
"macaroni or chicken nuggets"
i don't make two meals either. i am not big on wasting time or food. if they don't eat a lot at one meal, they can always make up for it at the next.
I always ask my family what they want for a meal. If they dont eat it then too bad, they can eat it later
No I don't make them a seperate meal. They will eat what is put in front of them or nothing at all. I don't find it to be lazy at all! My kids are going to learn that you eat what mom makes and it is as simple as that.
They don't go hungry. If they are hungry later then they have an option of their dinner or fruits and veggies.

I'm not reducingyarlf to a child's diet. Not a d I cooking 6 meals a day. I have kid dinner some night and more grown up meals on others.

They can make themselves something. I don't let them go hungry all night because they wake up throwing up by the next morning. It's a stomach issue. So, I have to make sure they eat. Whatever I make, they have to at least try it, if they don't like it, they can make their own food.
"Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification" Romans 14:19

Nope. Though if he doesnt like a particular vegetable, I may sub it for a different veggie he'd prefer. But a whole seperate meal--no.
I agree but I also make sure that I make a meal that I know all of my kids will enjoy. Healthy yet tasty.
