i need ideas for a science fair project for my dd. my 1st grader chose: Do some colors of mms melt faster than others?

i cant find one dd seems to like.
in the past years we have done:

how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

which hand soap makes more suds?

which brand popcorn pops more kernals?

does a frozen candle burn faster than one thats not frozen?

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Last year we did:

1. Does the amount of time you wash your hands really affect how clean they get

2. If a person is right handed/left handed, do they ue t hat hand for all tasks

This year they are doing

1. Do expensive bands of toothpaste get rid of more bacteria

2. What scents do dogs prefer

No idea but I'll give you a bump. The previous ideas were pretty creative.

1 mom liked this
Which.material filters water best. Gravel, charcoal, cotton, sand. And you get water that's not clean and pour the water through each material to see which one works best. I did this for my 2nd science fair and I won 2nd place.
