SO has disappeared *update*

He was supposed to go to the store to get water and grab something for me to make for lunch. That was 4 hours ago. I've tried calling several times and there was no answer. The last time I called, it went straight to voice mail. The roads are terrible and I'm starting to get worried. I don't have a vehicle to go look for him and I don't know what to do now.

Thanks for the advice ladies, those of you who were nice about it. I called the local hospitals and public safety and found nothing. He finally called 6 hours after he left. His best friend was electricuted at work (they used to work together) The power went out for half of the building, so his boss used a make shift key to break into a control panel that only the electric company is supposed to have access to. His friend was holding a voltage meter while his boss was poking around inside the panel. He touched something wrong and electricity went through the probe, into the meter, entered his friend's pinky, and shot out of his shoulder. The doctors said the only reason he is alive right now is because he was leaning against a metal object. It drew the electricity out of his shoulder rather than it going across his heart and out his other arm.

SO said he was upset and the roads were awful so he didn't want to call on his way to the hospital. Once he got there and saw his friend, he said his focus was only on him. His friend is stable, but talking to him even now you can tell he is confused. They are keeping him for a few days to monitor his heart and any nerve damage that will probably result from this.

We're both sitting with him now and he keeps talking about wanting Captain Crunch cereal. He seems like he is in good spirits, but he could use any good thoughts you ladies can send his way

I'd worry also. You can call the police and ask if they have any accidents reported with his description and vehicle. My next step after that would be to call the hospital(s). 4 hours is a little too long to be away on a simple errand. Hope you hear something back soon!
