Anyone else sleep separate from their spouse?

he snores, and I'm done. Earplugs don't work. The only thing that would work is smothering him but since that's against the law, I sleep in my kid's room. How about you?

This is exactly how I would describe my husband. He is so loud you can hear him 2 walls over.

My parents don't. My dad's snoring is ridiculous.

dont forget dying in your sleep!

Quoting AmyD43:

Stroke, heart attack, increased bp not enough sleep

Quoting Anonymous:

What can happen if he has it and doesn't get it checked?

Quoting AmyD43:

Get him to go to doctor and get checked for sleep apnea! He stay 1 night at sleep center and then he will go home with Cpap machine and no more snoring.

Yes.  He can't sleep without the tv on and I can't sleep unless its totally dark and quiet.  It works for us.  We've been happily married for 15 years.

And yes, we do meet in the middle a few nights or mornings a week;)

I Wish. He'd get pissed if i tried. But he drives me nuts all through the night and I spend half of it awake. I went to the couch from 4am-6am last night and he was mad :(

We go to bed in the same bed, but eventually he goes to the couch because the bed hurts his back

DF usually sleeps in the basement, me and the kids sleep in the master bedroom. He usually is in bed before us and needs his sleep.

I'm pregnant right now so I sleep sitting up in the recliner and he sleeps on a mattress on the floor next to me, in case I need him.

My parents do. They've been happily married for 40 years. They started doing it after I moved out 10 years ago because they finally had the space and my dad snores. I think sleeping separately is the key to their success. Lol
