Buying generic brands

Are there any things that you prefer the generic brand over the name brand?

I like the generic cinnamon rolls in the can from Walmart or Kroger way more than I like the Pillsbury ones.

Stop & Shop's organic brand has these animal cookies that are one hundred times better than any other brand.

I'm fine with most generic options. Except Cheerios and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.

I don't think anything we buy is name brand except for milk and bread. I don't see/taste any difference except for price.

Most of the time I do like the generic better (or whatever is cheapest) but there are some exceptions esp. as attained to certain foods and bathroom products like toilet paper and pads.

I like our store brand of a lot of stuff b/c a lot of it's made/grown/produced here in Texas (H.E.B.) I like keeping it local.

I buy almost all my food generic. I would prefer to buy name brands because there are a lot of things you can tell the difference but I save a lot of money this way.
