Today the teacher told me when I picked up my girls at 3:08 if I was late anymore I would have to pick them up in the office.
Fine except my son gets out at 2:50 clear across town. And that's just when the bell rings. By the time I'm out of the traffic it's 3 and I hall ass to the girls' school.
I have tried picking the girls up first but they get out at 2:45. The line takes 30 mins to get through if I go there first. There is over 500 kids in that school and they are little. I don't know what they want me to do. It's all one district they should stagger the release times a little

It's not the teachers problem. Sorry. Someone needs to get on the bus.

I'm not the only one with issue. It's not like I was the last person there. There were lots of cars behind me. I'm not the only one with a 3rd grader and two pre schoolers

Our youngest two go to two different schools. We opted into this school district but couldn't get them both in the same school. Both schools are aware of this. We pick up the youngest first. She goes to a much smaller school and it is easier to get out of. My son's school is about 7 min away and they keep him inside if it is too cold. Have you spoke with both of the principals? Are they just having your child wait by the office?
