I've been struggling with quitting smoking my second time around and boy is it hard. I quit for roughly 18 months cold turkey, and it was super easy because I was pregnant. I knew when I picked up and lit that first cig I was heading down a slippery sloap, but of course, like any addict, I rationalized. "just this one" blah blah blah. Daily I say to myself, "I'm wasting money, I don't want my daughter to have a parent that smokes etc" but every day I'm right back to it. I can't get pregnant again of course, and cold turkey isn't working, my will power is extremely low. I feel like a horrible mother because I feel like having my daughter should be enough for me to just stop. So what did you do, besides cold turkey, that helped you quit?
