What is the process when someone's tax refund gets intercept for child support owed?

If you have a case through DCSE they should do it automatically if he files. I've never done anything special and always get my son's birthfather's tax refund because he has arrears that he still owes.

The government holds on to it for a few months and then you receive the money however you would normally receive CS. Either check or direct deposit.

Child support enforcememt does it. You need to have a case with them
