April 14 will be our 5 year mark dating. We have 2 kids. If he hasn't asked me by then I'm going to ask him to marry me.

Yes we have talked about it. He keeps saying he wants to save up enough for the ring. We share a bank account and I know its gonna be a loooong time before he can save up for a ring. Besides I really am not into flashy things. Yea it would be nice to brag about my expensive ring, but the meaning behind it means so much more to me than the size and price.

He says were going to get married one day. God only knows when that is. Just being engaged and waiting awhile to me feels like were taking a step in the right direction other than just saying it will happen eventually when he saves up enough money for a ring.
