I think it wasn't ideal but we owned our home, my parents were educated, there was always food, I had toys, I had my bah everyday, I brushed my teeth everyday, I play with all the kids in the neighborhood. My dad was not a nice person and there was some mental and physical abuse but they divorced when I was 10. It was bad for a while but everything got better when I went off to college. I actually got hypnotized to forgive both of them for letting a little girl deal with adult issues. I feel good about it now and don't dwell on it. I try to think positive mostly and move on. I have abandonment issues and scared my husband will cheat sometimes and leave us like my dad did, but because of how strong my past made me, I know I could make it through and take care of myself and boys. Sorry to hear all these bad stories;) God bless everyone.
