I miscarried twins about 2 yrs before my DD was born.

Yes I had 2 kids then a stillborn Girl. then a miscarriage. Then two more kids.

I have never had one but I was at my best friend's side when she buried her 8 month old and then again when she delivered her 16wk dead fetus...obviously the first wasn't a miscarriage but she has been through a lot of loss. Out of 7 pregnancies she only has 2 children. It's hard enough witnessing it firsthand, I can't imagine having to deal with it myself.

yes & so far yes.  I had a miscarriage in 2010 at 8 weeks.  I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and cannot wait until this precious little demon (I mean bundle of joy) gets here.  (I kid, my first child just turned 5 and he's a real handful - has been since he was born in 08 - so I'm guessing I'm not going to have it easy with number 2 either).  BTW, by primary care physician diagnosed me with hypothyroidism in March of last year and started me on medicine - when I went back in July for a follow up appt, I told her I was preggers and she said that the same thing happened to her niece that happened to me. She has hypothyroidism and as soon as she started getting it under control with the meds, she got pregnant also.  Sometimes a miscarriage can be caused by untreated thyroid issues so that might be something you want to get checked out.
