To register a baby shower at Walmart?

My sister in law registered her pregnancy at Walmart. What I don't understand is we have baby depot and baby's r us. Why not register there instead of Walmart?!

because she chose to register at walmart. who really gives a shit. walmart has more affordable prices so its better for those buying gifts also.

What does every one have against walmart? Walmart is awesome - the one in my area sucks. Too many people and too far away. I actually dont like city walmarts. Its worse then an amusement park. But in a area where its not so densly populated - walmart is awesome!

And a baby registry there is jsut fine.

I see no difference between walmart, target, coscto, bj's, k mart, big lots. They are all the same

I registered there for my first child.

It is less expensive and pretty much the exact same thing.

I don't see why not. They have baby stuff, diapers, and all sorts of stuff. This allows for competive pricing for those buying gifts. I do't thin it is trashy in the least.

Everyone invited to her baby shower isn't on the same budget. I think it's smart. Its pompous to expect people to buy you expensive stuff.
