To register a baby shower at Walmart?

My sister in law registered her pregnancy at Walmart. What I don't understand is we have baby depot and baby's r us. Why not register there instead of Walmart?!

Some people can't afford to $30 on something that they can buy at walmart for half that price!

Anything is better than babies r us. They are way over priced and make it impossible to exchange or return things.

But I got a lot of things from walmart.

I mean people register at places just to get an idea.

I registered at target because they had more of a selection.

Not everyone wants to spend a ton of money. If someone I don't know very well invites me to a shower and they don't register at target or Walmart I might not go. I'm not spending more than 10-20 on someone who isn't a good friend.
