Yes. We need to normalize breastfeeding as it is. Children need to be taught that breastfeeding is natural.

 So what exactly does the doll do ??

 I can see that a child might naturally do this with her doll especially if she has a mom who breast feeds... but what does the doll do ???

I wouldn't buy it only because its so freakin expensive! My DD1 nurses her dolls just fine, as is.

That's weird.  So itcomes with fake nipples?  Kids already have nipples, they don't need fake ones and those ones look nothing like Mom's (at least mine didn't - I would have loved rainbow coloured nipples!).  Give the kid a doll or , hell, a stuffed crocodile and it'll try to breastfeed it if that's what the kid sees.

I agree.

Kids bottle feed their babies. Breast feeding is just another form of feeding a baby. I don't see anything wrong with it. Would I buy it? No, but not because I think it's wrong.
