Bash away. Bash away. Bash away all!

I'm bored so here are my list of cafemom no-nos I am guilty of.

I breastfed my child to 16 months

I work, but receive food stamps

I get child support and the money goes to whatever is needed at the time. If I have a bill that needs to be paid when it comes in I pay it with the child support.

I'm on medical assistance.

I rearfaced my child until around 2 then turned the seat to forward facing.

The tv is always on, but child friendly, educational shows, but my child plays and reads books more than watching TV.

My child watches and loves Disney movies.

Some times I feed my child fast food and pizza.

I am filing for full custody because I'm tired of my child's father coming and going as he please. He's only seen my child 4 times in their life by his choice.

I have cats and my child and my child spends a lot of time around a pitbull.

I share a one bedroom apartment with my child. We share a room, but not beds.

I get rent assistance from a private agency because my job doesn't pay enough to make ends meet, even with child support and food stamps.

I smoke cigarettes, outside, away from my child.

Some times I yell at my child.

I do spank when necessary.

I don't bath my child every day.

I let the daycare feed my child breakfast during the week.

I vaccinate.

Hmmmm. I can't think of any thing else, but when I do I'll add them.

Btw. My child is happy, healthy, smart,.and well loved by me, my blood family, and my friends (lr extended family as I call them.

Oh and a couple I am friends with and I joke that we're all married and he even calls my child his child. We spend almost every weekend with my wifey, hubby, and second child.

My child is almost 3 and still uses a pacifier to sleep.

I never finished college and I'm not sure I even want to.

Legally I have a 20, almost 21 year old son and I'm only in my early 30s.

Bash away ladies. You know you want to.

Sounds like you're living in the real world and love your child a lot.
A lot of women have been sheltered and have lived in a bubble their entire lives so they have no idea what it's like to work and that still not be enough...you're a wonderful example of why we should keep govt assistance programs in place!
I wish all mothers could never experience poverty or worry about money...some ladies have never felt that struggle and are so quick to judge.
I'm just rambling now...

You sound like a normal mom lol.

I don't believe for one minuet that all these moms that talk crap to the rest of us for the way we parent do things that much differently anyway. They just needs the interwebs to make them feel special.
