Quoting Missmyangel1:We had one here last year or the year before in Albany, NY and we were at the grocery store at the time, I felt super dizzy and then suddenly the store shelves started rocking back and forth and everything was shaking. It only lasted about 30 seconds or so but it scared the ever living shit out of me! I couldnt get out of that store fast enough
You know, I never did feel that earthquake here in Albany and that was all everyone kept talking about.

Earthquakes aren't that bad if you're in an area that is used to them-and prepared for them. Just roll with it until it's over. If it's a big one-get under your dining room table and wait it out-and try not to panic. That's the worst thing you can do. You have to keep a level head if it IS a big-you need to turn the gas off if there's damage etc.
A lot of things here are made weird... lol
Yeah it was a 3.1 but I couldn't figure out if it was a quake or just a large person walking by my cubicle

It felt like someone ran into my building. Which isn't difficult at all. Some of the parking spaces here are made so weird.

Oh the whole state is in an area thats use to them. And I've been here most my life but I still freaking hate them. Last one was a bit big not too bad but I got in the door way it's the safest place during a quake
