How many of you have it?
I decided as soon as my first child was born, we needed life insurance. Both of us have 2 policies each one that we pay on and the other is through our jobs.
I know a lot of my friends who don't find this important, but I did with having children.
Our next step is getting a will in place and to set up our funeral arraignments. I don't want to bother my children with planning my funeral or having them paying for it. I want everything set up so when the time comes it is one less burden they have to deal with.

Its important. I have term life insurance. My husband has life insurance through his work. WE both have enough for either of us to live on for several months and pay off our house and any debt and funeral costs.

Yes, we have enough life insurance on each of us so that the remaining spouse will have enough for funeral expenses as well as pay off all the bills. We also have $10,000 on each kid.

That's one of the things we need to do. I feel so unprepared when I had my surgeries and they asked me if I had a will and such.

It makes things so much easier on your family and children. They will save so much in legal fees!

We have a combo term and whole life insurance policy on ourselves and a whole life policy for the kids.
