It's so cold.

today was a high of 8. With windchill, it was -11. -11 folks. I have gas heat and my thermostat set at 70. The girls have a small ceramic heater in their room. But it's still so cold. I have on 3 shirts, socks, and a sweater AND a fleece blanket. My oldest has on two shirts and her thickest sweater. My heater is kicking on CONSTANTLY. I feel thoroughly cold. What can I do to warm myself and the girls up? Usually it's no colder than the 30s or 20s but the last few days have been ridiculous.

Turn that heat up to 90-95......that is what I did, lol

We get windchills up to -20 here . I just layer and then layer some more. I also turn my heater up to 76 when its like that outside. brrrrrr

HOnestly get up and start moving around some.  When I sit down I end up getting cold.  Take a hot shower maybe?

 yeah I know the feeling, its been like that here too except 11-19 degrees but with wind chill much colder feeling. My heat is on 80 because our house has virtually no insulation an always has a breeze.
