Mine? He changed the background on my phone. It always said how much I loved in different ways, I woke up one morning and checked my phone, he'd changed it to "marry me". I told him yes later that night with a new pair of white frilly boy shorts, I'd written yes on them and told him he had to strip me that night to find his answer.

Nope. I will never legally marry.  We've been together 21 years now.   At around year 12 or so, he finally fully understood and accepted  that I won't and why I won't. He also fully agreed by that time that not getting married legally is in my best interest.

Thank you! If I had listened to a lot of women, I wouldn't be married to my love right now. I heard over and over that I was a fool for waiting almost 7 years and that he was never going to fully commit, and that I was a slut for having a baby with him when it was obvious he wasn't serious, and blah blah blah, so it feels good. :D

He proposed after Easter dinner with family. It was very sweet.

 We first met at an outdoor photo shoot for a Harley magazine. He was there with his friends and I was there with mine. On Valentine's day he told me wanted to go for a walk in the snow and took me back to that very spot where we met and proposed to me with the snow lightly falling on us. It was beautful and perfect!
