Are these "acceptable" things to spend the money on?

This is mostly for fun, since I honestly don't really care what other people think of what I spend money on. But in light of all the "I can't believe you get so much in tax credits and blow it!" posts, I thought I'd post what mine is going towards...
We are getting 8,500. A yet-unspecified amount will go toward DS' dental surgery this summer (whatever insurance doesn't cover). Me and DH are buying new glasses, and DH will get (badly needed) new shocks and brakes in his truck.
The rest will be put into savings to supplement DH's income while he cuts back hours to finish school.
So, do I pass the test? ; )

That sounds very responsible. Are you at least gonna get drunk once with that money?

that sounds very responsible! We're putting on a new roof, badly needed (doing it ourselves to save $2000) and putting whatever is left towards credit cards
