I heard locks of love doesn't actually go to cancer patients and pantene is the way to go...? Anyone heard of that too?


Anyway, way to go OP!!! I have never donated because my hair is always dyed and treated and everything else. I wish I could have donated when I cut off 10inches years ago.

No! You don't give money (well, you can if you want). If they end up selling your hair (too short, bleached, etc.), it defrays the cost of making the wigs.
