ETA::::Thanks for the responses. All I have around me, are families with a lot of family support and they get date nights regularly. We do not:( So planning is very important.  I see most of you are in the same boat! Misery loves company I guess!! hehehehe

We recently began making it a point to go once a month, I found a woman a this base that I love, we pay her $8 an hour for 2 kids and she feeds them for us. We go to dinner the movies bowling driving shooting etc. every 6 months we'll do more expensive dinner or something more fancy.

We've had three in the past 21 months lol. My mom watches him , we get to go eat a nice meal without rushing or juggling the baby , play at the casino and/or enjoy a concert , drink a little , and sleep alllllll night and sleep in until 9am lol !!

I've never had a "date night" in the past 5 1/2 years I've been a mom. We've gone to the movies in the afternoon a few times during some sort of holiday while my hubbies mom watched DD. I don't feel comfortable with anyone else watching her though.

What do you? - usually karaoke.  Most recently we went to a friend's CD release party and listened to his band and the opening act. Sometimes just a movie out in the real world

Who watches your child? he's 17 so he's self watching

How often do you get a date night? not often.  We are homebodies and on a tight budget.

Our dd has grandbaby night every Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm at my mil's. That is our date night. Sometimes we go see a movie or go out for dinner but most nights we stay home and just enjoy each others company. :-)
