Not really..just needed an attractive title.

I'm pregnant, on bed rest, and absolutely bored out of my mind! I still have 7 weeks to go and I don't think I can take this much longer!

I can't fall asleep and DH is snoring so loud, even ear plugs won't muffle it. Please keep me entertained! Funny pictures, questions..anything!

I think fleas are worse than carpenter ants when it comes to getting rid of them! We have 5 dogs and I'm really surprised that we haven't had a bad flea problem..not yet anyway!

Quoting BraydensMama163:

We had a sugar ant invasion in our last place. You couldn't put anything down without having ants all over it. And fleas. Omg we had fleas pretty bad. They were in the yard I guess and some how got in the house and were living in the carpet. They took forever to get rid of

Quoting Anonymous:

That is horrible!

It seems like every year we have some kind of pest invasion. When we first moved in, it was mice. We got rid of those right away and the following spring the carpenter ants moved in. Lady bugs came the following year and now it's spiders.

Quoting BraydensMama163:

That's scary but cute.

We have a wood porch and woods around the house. So during the summer you have to watch opening the door. And every now and then they find a way in regardless. I'm terrified of them!

We lived in a rental once and our fridge went out and when the landlord got us a "new" one she just got one off craigslist or something that someone had in their shed and it was full of roaches. Like 3 different breeds. We bombed twice and then moved. Told her to kiss ass.

Quoting Anonymous:

I hate those things! We have a bad spider problem right now. My 3yo keeps finding them and tries to get them to bite him. He is a huge Spiderman fan

Quoting BraydensMama163:

I will scream in the.middle of him rolling over on me. Just to freak him out. Its piss pants worthy for sure.

On a side note I just found one of those wood roaches climbing on my roof and I thermal a boot at it upside down and sprayed Mr clean on it at the same time. And it fell and tried to crawl. I freaked and tried to run past it and hit the wall.

Quoting Anonymous:

I tried that last night. He got so annoyed he ended up sleeping on the floor next to the bed lol

Quoting BraydensMama163:

Can't add anything. So sorry. But I can give you a tip. I kick dh when he snores loudly or rolls over on me.

Makes him stop for a minute.

What a thinker he is.

My eldest is 4-1/2 years older than our next son. The adjustment wasn't very easy. He really liked having all the attention. Going to school helped him mature, though. He was ok with it after a short while. By the time the third one came, he was an old pro at being a big brother.

Good luck and congratuations! I hope you get some sleep tonight. I know it can be so very difficult those last few months.

Quoting Anonymous:

Sounds like you did a wonderful job with him!

My step son was really nervous when I had his brother. It had been 4 years of it being just him and I and I don't think he wanted to give that up. He has been a fantastic big brother though! This time when we told him we were having another, he was pretty excited. He kept saying he wanted a boy because "pink towels won't look right in a super hero bathroom"

Quoting lucsch:

That's adorable!

My eldest son, who was about 6 at the time cried out, "Not another boy!" at the ultrasound of my 3rd baby boy. BTW, it is my baby boy's 18th birthday today (well yesterday now). I would not have traded him for any girl. He was such a cuddly baby and so energetic but sweet. He's turned into a really good young man. In fact, he is following in my footsteps and studying engineering next fall in college.

Quoting Anonymous:

That's exciting! I don't think my 3yo quite understands that we are going to have a baby here real soon. He keeps pulling out newborn onesies and pants and tries to put them on himself. My sister just had a baby girl 6 weeks ago and he was pretty fascinated with her. When I told him there was a baby in my belly, he went around telling everyone "Mama ate a baby!"

Quoting lucsch:

I have 3 sons...and the fourth is a daughter. Yep, I was shocked when the doctor said, "Think pink!" We had been married 20 years by then. LOL I was so happy to find out my DIL and son are having a boy, though. They have a 3yo big sister waiting for him.

Quoting Anonymous:

Another boy! DH and I have a son together and he has a son from a previous relationship that I raise full time. I was kind of hoping for a girl this time

Quoting lucsch:

My DIL is due in 9 weeks. Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl?

My poor DD got the worst of it all. Flea bites, had to pull her bed away from the wall just so she could escape the crawlers. They were so bad we had to vacuum them from the walls. ( ants that is)
