Do any of you have your mil living with you in your home?

would you let her move in if you had a good relationship?

I dont. She still lives on her own.

If it came down to it, I imagine she'd go live with my SIL (her daughter). We have a great relationship but she's better suited there. Plus she's elderly and teeny...I have a giant dog that would probably knock her over by leaning on her.

I would never turn her away if our house was the only choice though. She's a great lady!

My MIL lived with us for several months.

We had a good relationship until that happened.

This is probably in my future, my not-so-distant future and I don't know if I will be able to handle it.

No. I used to have a good relationship with my so's mother for two years. After that me and my so fought once in front of her and she tried breaking us up ever since. I never realized how controling and manipulative she was until we got to that point (I am very passive and just generally think of others before myself). I can't stand the woman.

no i don't and I wouldn't. She is only about who she is living with and can care less about the rest of her grand-kids
