So with all the transgender posts about I thought I would start a Q&A. We have many knowledgable individuals on here. So ask your questions and those of us who are transgender or have transgender individuals in our lives will answer your questions for you.

I love it!!! You looked so unhappy in the first pic. :( but the second one your confidence is there. I think you made the right decision to pursue what made you feel complete. GL

Selfless bump given the complete and utter ignorance abounding in the other thread.

While bumping up your post is an unwanted side effect of replying, it doesnt really matter anyways because you bump your own post up when your attention dies down.

Quoting purpleducky:

So your solution to my attention whoring is to bump me up so people see it? How does that make sense?

Quoting mybabybugssmile:

Yes. Dont want anyone to miss an opputunity to pay attention to the attention whore.

Quoting purpleducky:

Afternoon bump

I thought hormone therapy incrreased the risk for cancer.  Is this true and how do transgender people avoid the threat?

I fell so sorry for people who feel that they are a man stuck in a woman's body, or the other way around.  Success to everyone who seeks to find their true self...

I have not heard the cancer risk thing. It does bring other health risks though. For instance I am at a higher risk of high cholesterol and liver issues. So I have blood drawn every few months to check my levels. If my numbers get too bad we will have to discuss how to proceed.
