I've been sitting in my car for 30+ min

I'm at home, in my car. Just sitting. My daughter is asleep and about 30+ min ago I dropped my son off at basketball practice. Ever feel so sad and lost on the inside that you don't want to move? That's kind of how I'm feeling. I don't feel like moving I just want to sit here and stare and maybe i will even cry. I'm pathetic but I guess it happens right? Or am I alone here?

I have sat in my car while they napped so they wouldn't be grumpy.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

I have! I blast music in my car sometimes. Doesn't matter where I am. It makes me feel better.

You are not pathetic. You are depressed..I suggest seeing a doc to help wth the depression at hand. THEN I would start changing my life to improve it so depression doesn't continue... Depression can be a huge sign that shit needs to change....

Things happen. I go out to the car and swear when I'm really pissed off.

You're not alone at all. I usually have some kind of depressing music playing though that goes along with my mood. It kinda helps get it all out of me. I'm sorry you're feeling this way, momma. I hope things get better.
