Wore white?

My mil wore white to my bil's wedding. His wife was pissed and a raging bitch because of it. In all fairness so was my mil lol she complained the whole time because she had to cook two pans of lasagna and she didn't like the date and she wanted to be in more pictures and was complaining that the pictures should have been taken before the wedding and not after.

Anyway why is wearing white only for the bride? I never did get that. .

Both of our mothers had off white dresses. I mean like cream, not a yellow-y off white. I didn't care. The pics were lovely.

It wouldn't bother me. I just got married in July and I think there were some people in white there. The way I saw it, these people love me or else they wouldn't be at my wedding so no one is going to try to one up me, and who was I to tell people what they could or could not wear? I let the maid of honor pick her own dress.
