Anonymous group hacks ussc.gov frontpage. UPDATE#3

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

http://www.ussc.gov/

Pretty interesting, though it could be nothing.

For those who don't know, the USSC is the United States Sentencing Commission.

UPDATE: Looks like the hacked site has now been taken down. Actually, you can still access the site through it's ip address: http://66.153.19.162/. The site is mostly back under control, although it seems to be somewhat slow. You can still see the video that was on the hacked front page here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaPni5O2YyI

Appropriately, the mainstream media has now just started to pick up on the story. Here are some links:

Quoting Anonymous:

And Americans are supporting them. No pride at all.

Why is everybody wants to fix America???

Is this the only country that needs help???

I will say this: There is something very wrong with our justice system that a hacker can get up to 35 years, yet you can kill someone and get out in less then 10 years.

IP address still works. Must not be entirely under control. 66.153.19.162

Well we certainly know no "anonymous group" from CM hacked it.  The majority of the women here can't even spell ussc without spellcheck and at least 10 errors.

No, that's not correct.

"They" have already claimed it, but again, being anonymous ... The video wasn't quite right, they don't strike me as the type of group to do something like this at this time for one person, it would defeat their agenda. They can't possible not realize that. And its all to convenient that this, on a government site, when they recently said that the biggest threat is cyber attacks... they want to censor the internet so damn bad! More of "anonymous" group work will pop up, and it will be blasted in the media while none of it resembles any of their past work. I am very very suspicious.

Its a false flag. This isn't anonymous! The down side of anonymous is its nobody so anybody can do something and claim anonymous is responsible. Its already hit all the major media outlets and I don't believe it was anonymous at all.

That may be true. We'll have to wait and see, though.
