LOL You may bring whoever you want to a party you are hosting. His dad doesn't control YOU.

Don't let him stop you.

My dad's wife and my mother DO NOT COMMUNICATE. My parents had a NASTY DIVORCE. My mother HATES the new wife. They have been to my children's parties They IGNORE each other. It works. Tell the bio dad to deal with it, and just not speak to him if he doesn't want to.

If MY PARENTS/spouses can be in the same room together without a fight, MOST others can too. ;)

Not dads problem. How old is DS? If he's old enough, ask him how he feels...

If the ds knows the bf and wants him there then I'd say tell dad too bad. It is okay for the bf to be there, why not? However if this is a bf that the child isn't familiar with then no he should not be there.  I'm guess I'm asking who does the child want there?  It's HIS birthday party.

I was confused! I thought that your DF doesn't want your BF there (as in boyfriend) not BFF!

If you're paying, then tell him to kick sand and he can be a pain in the dick or suck it up and not cause drama @ your child's party.

**ETA** I have no idea what's going on. I need a flow chart!
