WALL SITS!! for 2 minutes. Now all I have to do is say "This is your warning (child's name), if you don't quit ______ you will have to do wall sits." And they stop almost immediately. It's working like a charm!

I make my ds hold one of my college textbooks straight up over his head.

Mine does pushups and situps.  I know some people who disagree with this, but that's what they do in karate and it gets him back in that mindset of behaving like he does in class.

I love wall sits, but I never thought about using it as punishment for my daughter! LOL! Great idea, Momma!

Cage and duct tape has worked for me since they started crawling.

If it works the same my sister done this with my kids last weekend....I have taken it 1 further at home this week when timeouts haven't worked...they stand againt the wall face toward and stand on 1 foot with hands behind there back...a minute per age, must say I have had fewer stressful days...children 10 yhrs n 5 yrs

awww just another form of physical punishment, good job......I will continue to stick to my non physical, non verbal punishments that straightens my dd right up as well.
