Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

My 6 year old doesn't get fed.

Well, she does.  Three meals and 3 snacks.   All day long all she does is say she is hungry.  I don't know what to do with her anymore.  I refuse to let her just eat all day long.  Every 13 seconds all I have heard is "mom, I am hungry".  She had scrambled eggs, toast, and an apple for breakfast.  Yogurt and graham crackers for snack.  An entire Turkey and Cheese sandwich, cottage cheese, and carrots and celery.  For her snack she had a hard boiled egg and grapes.  It is 4:45 and she is acting like I have starved her all day.  She gets irritated with me at snack time because she wants crap and I won't let her have it (well we don't have it in the house).

She drinks milk, tea, and water.  I am not sure how to get her out of this habit.  I figrured keeping her busy was the key, but that doesn't stop her.  She just says she is hungry the whole time we are doing whatever we are doing.  This has been going on for about a month. Any suggestions?

ETA - Sorry I was unclear.  When she says she is hungry I tell her she can have fruits or veggies and she just gets frustrated with me and says no.

I do. Did you read the post?  Should I just let her eat a box of Zebra Cakes too because that is what she wants?  I

Feed her. If she's not eating a bunch of junk all day I don't see the issue.
