 when you cook other than jalapenos and habeneros what veggies do you use that the american moms don't use? What about fruit?

I cook Plantains and make Salsa out of Tomatillas all the time, lol I love avocados...............Dammit now I need to go shopping, lol BUT I have not quite mastered making Mole........

Mole is basically a condiment. You can buy it at walmart in the latino foods or at latino markets. It's better if you make it yourself. You can google recipes.

I don't know if I use stuff that American moms don't use. I just know that I season differently. I like to use cabbage, onions, squash, zucchini, cilantro, radish, carrots, baby onions (they are great when grilled), tomatillo, many herbs that I don't know how to translate to English lol. And many more veggies.

I use a lot of veggies, avocados, tomatillos, cilantro, onion, carrots, cabbage, nopales(cactus) and there are some more, but I can't think of the rest right now, but most of the stuff I listed, "american" moms use them too lol
