And the person attacking you demanded your purse, would you give it to him, or try to fight him off? 

I live by Chicago, and hear stories all the time about women & even men getting approached and demanded their wallets or purses, and they refuse to give them up, so they get stabbed, or beat, or shot...

What would you do?

What do you carry on you for protection? Not that it would be easy to get to at all times, but you never know...

They can have it. Material possessions and money mean nothing to me. My life and my families life is more important than a purse and a little money

I don't carry a purse, I have a wallet.but if it came down to it..take it..I can replace it..they can't replace me

If they just wanted my purse?? Heck yea i would give it to them. Everything but my life can be replaced.
