My brother (27) came over to visit me and the kids, I was mopping th kitchen floor so all the chairs were in the living room. 

My brother shows up and starts playing with the kids pretending the floor is Lava so they have to stay on the Chairs and couches or the "lava monster...Aka my brother" will get them and turn them into Lava babies

(we played this game as kids at my grandma's house all the time)

Well my DH walks in and looks at the kids and my brother and asks me what on earth they were doing. I told him they were playing "Lava Babies"  DH looked at me and asked "What on earth is Lava Babies" so my brother explains it to him....DH just shook his head and walked off!!

What?  I thought everyone played lava floor at one time or another, even if the floor wasn't being mopped.  LOL  

I was doing private duty nursing for a very well off couple one time and they had some friends over who were talking about this 'quaint' picnic they went to where they played games with water balloons and they had never seen anything like it.  I was sitting in the alcove LMAO!  WHO doesn't know about a water balloon toss?
