If you can't afford diapers, you can't afford a baby.

I just read this online and thought this would be an interesting topic for discussion.
What do you think?
True. And also, if you can't afford food, you can't afford a baby. And just in case someone was clueless - older kids cost more than babies.
Most people can afford just diapers. However, if you can't afford formula, health insurance, clothes, diapers, etc. all at the same time - then you can't afford a baby.
Yeah.
But then you are going to have the people who say use the re-washable ones and blah, blah, blah.
has merit, but are there exceptions to the rule? like allergies or cost increases caused by location?
REALLY, NO SHIT?! What are you going to do wrap it in old news papers?
There are two sides of this coin.....if you can't afford diapers, you can always go old fashioned with cloth. If you refuse to use cloth and can't afford diapers, then nope, you shouldn't have a kid.
But shit happens. Maybe they could afford diapers and a baby lol but then someone got laid off or whatever and now they are struggling.
I try not to make huge blanketed judgements
well that certainly doesn't run parallel to all the moms on here who say, "they're young. they can't help it"
