Does any one know what you have to do to get onIt? Where do u go?

My dh got laid off and weve been struggling so ive been considering getting on it for a couple months til he can find another job(which god willing will be soon:(

What have your experiences been like? Ive heard stories of women being mistreated by wic ppl:(

What do u need to bring? Pay stubs?
How do u find out if you even qualify?
We are a family of four and bring in barely 1,000 a month. Is that to much/should i not even try.

I dont need/want much just enough to keep the los fed:(

That's not too much income for a FAM of 4. When I went for a FAM of 4 we were making 2900/mo

I don't know, but as a tax payer with a good income this is what the program is for, and I hope you can get some benefit from it. Good luck mama!

You will need ID
SS cards:
Proof of residency.
Proof of income.
Proof of any benefits you are receiving.
They asked
For proof of my
Rent,

The WIC people here were awesome. I applied while pregnant.
My first appointment they sat down, face me booklets, pamphlets, went into
Extreme depth about things that I shouldn't eat.

I did a Breast feeding course, when dd was born they set me up with a breastfeeding counseler who I could call anytime day or night with questions. They gave me an electric Brest pump.

I went in the other day with a friend and they still have DDs birth announcement in the wall.
