*Rhage is doing great. He's up from 2lbs to 7lbs 6oz. He gets to come home tomorrow!
Quoting wolfybaby:im glad your son is doing better! with our science today, we can save babies born as early as 20 weeks gestation! i had an aunt lose a baby to a premature birth at 15 weeks or so. it was very sad. so always remember to hug your lucky little man every single day.
i have a totally random question [other mothers who have had premature boys can answer this too] that i hope you dont mind me asking. since babies cannot be circumcised while in the nicu, did that change your opinion on having the procedure done at all, if you were planning on getting it done? like, during the weeks [or months for some parents] of his stay in the nicu and "getting to know" his intact body, did you change your mind and decline the circumcision that the hospital offers before discharge?
Quoting Ollie123:That is awesome news! So this may be a stupid question but by any chance are you a Black Dagger Brotherhood fan? I am. Lol
Love it! And congrats on your little warrior.

Oh yes! His name is Rhage Brian. I wasn't sure on the name until he came out kicking, screaming and full of fight.

Just pray he makes it please I had my son at 26. He is in the nicu, weighing in at 2 lbs. He is doing ok. Not breathing on his own. Yet. The docs are sure he will pull through. I just came back to my room.

I am so ready! I can't wait for him to sleep in his bassinet, and be with sissy and bubby! Of course his daddy won't be sleeping tonight (his first)
