How much is the car inspection? Is it 40 or 50?

No it's an area thing. I know around Huntsville they don't have to do emissions. Here we have to do the damned emissions, the price you're quoting sounds about right though.

My husband usually does that but I am pretty sure it's around $40.

That's why I said Houston area. We have emissions so the prices will be the same in this area since all what 8 counties in the area have to do emissions testing.
