How different do you look?

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

From when you were younger and didn't have kids?

Do do you look your age?

Do you think you look like a mom.?

I'm 17, I've had quite a few people, even on here guess that I was older, but I don't really know what age I look like, i just always assume I look my age or slightly older. Looking at older pictures I think I look my age in pictures where I was 12, but when I look at pictures from when I was 14 I think I do look a little older than my friends did at that point.

I don't think my looks have changed a whole lot, no matter what pictures i look at , my face always seems to look the same, even ones from when I was three. So I think the only part of my looks that changed when I had dd was my body and the way I dress. (basically I no longer where skinny jeans, and band t-shirts with a hoodie over everything, with my face covered in eyiner, mascsra and black eye shadow, which is basically what I use to live in.)

I do think I look like a mom. but then again that might have something to do with the fact that any time we go any where i dont even carry a purse any more, in place of that I have a winnie the pooh diaper bag on my shoulder, a bottle in my hand and a baby on my hip, lol.

But after I put a picture in a guess my age post the other day, I had several women guessing my age to be any where between 24 and 35. It made me wonder if I really just don't look my age, and If other women think they look tried or think that they do or don't look their age.

Please excuse any typos, I am Mobile and my touch screen and autocorrect have a mind of their own, and hate me.

Eta: the questions are whether are not you think you look you are, whether or not you think you look like a mom, and how different you look compared to when you were younger (meaning have you always looked the same or did you drastically change)

17. You are just a kid.

I have 3 kids older then you.

Are you still in school or did you quit?

I have always looked older. When I was 16 people used to think I was in my 20's. But it has worked out b/c now that I am in my 20's I still look the same. :)

When my adult son and I go out people think we are dating or married.  I even took him to the ER once and the staff kept calling me his wife.  I guess thats a good thing that people think I look younger than I am.

When I had him everyone thought I was about 10 years older, then somewhere in my 30's it switched around and everyone has thought I'm over a decade younger since.

I'm 22, I still look super young, people think I'm about 16. However people I went to hs with don't recognize me, I've lost weight and generally just take more pride in my appearance

I have gotten better looking with age and no I am not calling myself attractive. I went through a very awkward, ugly duckling stage from about 13-20. Yep it lasted a lot longer than it ever should have. High School was miserable and my first year of college was not so hot.

I have always loved fashion, style and being a girl, I just never knew how to pull off the looks my friends and peers were achieving. It took my almost all of my Freshmen year in high school to figure out how to use a straightening iron, a curling iron and appropriately apply make-up. But when I got it figured out, I created a monster and became obsessed with trends, hair accessories, make-up and fashion forward ideas.

Fast forward to today, I am a confident, fashionable woman who also happens to be a mom of a nine year old. No one would ever guess I am a mom, not because I dress or look a certain way but because I am so career driven.

I went to the store one time, and my dad tagged along because I was lending him some money for groceries, this lady that I knew from the store looked at him, looked at me and asked me "is that your honey?"

It's all good! I'm pretty sure I look older too.

I know, I was just shocked to have people guess me to be in my 30"s lol

Having had kids young myself... you don't WANT to look 17. Looking 17 would have people judge you everywhere you went for having a child so young. Looking 24ish in your case is an awesome thing!
