Does it bother you that candy is offered at the pediatricians office?

Dd is six months old and the ma that gave her the shots offered her a taffy afterwards! Am I the only one who finds that insane?

I guess its not a big deal bc she doesnt understand yet but I wouldn't want her to have it when she is 3 either.

I don't think it should be offered. If parents ask forone then that is their choice but don't wave a taffy in my kids face and make me look like the bad guy.

Ours doesn't give candy. They have a treasure box of small toys and stickers the kids can pick from.

I don't see it as a big deal. It's not like I've never told my kid no before.

I get upset at the allergist that they give suckers, but its more because he is allergic to corn and I feel like the allergist should be one place we don't have to worry about allergens.

Toys and stickers make more sense, with the obesity epidemic in this country a place that promotes healthy kids shouldn't offer sugary snacks. IMO
