Today I spent a total of 37.86 using coupons and catalinas.
I bought 15 pounds of pork roast, 4 cases of rotel tomatoes, 3 cases of Progresso soup, 12 cans of tuna, 16 bottles of salad dressing or hot sauce, 15 2 liters of pop, 10 jars of peanut butter, 10 package of Uncle ben's rice, 22 bags of frozen vegetable blends, and 14 boxes of jello or pudding mix.
Now, some of it is going to my church's food pantry and some I am giving my daughter's family. But I am proud of this haul and now because I found the meat so cheap, I can stock up on sale strawberries by freezing them for smoothies and cakes.
It is important never to let a pantry get down to almsot nothing.
Quoting Dzyre1115:I don't extreme coupon because we eat organic or whole foods and it's hard to find coupons for those types of foods, we do have a well stocked pantry though.
