In texas, I 100% believe he was set up by his so called "friend". I feel really bad for him and his girlfriend, they are fucked and may NEVER get out of jail. I'm so worried that the house we rent is going to be taken away (we can't afford to move)
Yep, you're probably SOL on your current rental. I don't feel bad for them.
Possibly go visit and ask him if you can work something out with him for reduced rent or an early return of your security deposit.
